Resilience is very necessary character trait in the game of life. Resilience is being able to withstand or recover quickly from difficult conditions. Life is a roller-coaster. Full of ups, downs, twists and turns. The journey is a rocky road and a lot of times it’s not even clear how to advance forward to reach our goals. I compare the path of life to a boxing match.
Round after round after round after round. Test after trial. Test after trial. As a fighter, you must have the heart to outlast your opponent. Facing life’s unpredictability; Its jabs, uppercuts, combos, and hay-makers is a battle that all of us human beings must face. As a fighter, you’ll get tired eventually from continuous battle round after round. Some days will feel like death. Some days will make you cry. Some days you will feel hopeless. You must be resilient! As a fighter in the game of life, your will-power will be tested in all facets of life (physically, mentally, spiritually, emotionally), especially those of you on your spiritual journey.
To those with big dreams, remember, “To whom much is given, much is tested” and “God gives is his hardest battles to his strongest soldiers”. The obstacle course you face on a day to day basis is there to build you, mold you and strengthen your spiritual and mental mettle. It will condition you so that when you’re in the late rounds of the fight, beaten and exhausted; you’ll have what it takes to reach back and keep fighting with everything you got inside of you. That’s the true test of life. That’s the true test of Greatness.
Can you take shot after shot to the chin and get back up? Can you handle the pain of life’s obstacles and struggles? Can you fall constantly and continue to rise from the ashes? Resilience and persistence go hand in hand. Keep pressing forward. Keep inching towards your goals and dreams. Don’t give up! Remain faithful and patient. Quitting isn’t an option. You will not lose. Whatever your struggle is, whether it’s financial problems, loss of love, death, car issues, family issues, whatever it is. Pain in the game of life is inevitable. None of us can avoid the pitfalls and rough days that life will continually throw at us along our journeys. But to win, to reach the peak of the mountain, you must be resilient. You must take the blows and bounce back like it ain’t shit. You can’t allow yourself wallow in despair. You must be invincible. Unshakable. Relentless. Unbreakable. Formidable. You must have the will to win and the resilience to experience repeated failure, pain, and struggle.
You must say to yourself, “I. Will. Not. Lose. Period.” Ultimately, one day, you will win. You will reach that place you desire with every inch of your heart. You’ll look back at your journey and everything you’ve been through and feel ultimate satisfaction. Be resilient and outlast the struggle to reach your pinnacle. BE RESILIENT and WIN!
“Never say that you can’t do something, or that something seems impossible, or that something can’t be done, no matter how discouraging or harrowing it may be; human beings are limited only by what we allow ourselves to be limited by: our own minds. We are each the masters of our own reality; when we become self-aware to this: absolutely anything in the world is possible.
